The VGA data cable is a special cable used to connect the VGA connector (D-SUB) of the TV or monitor and the VGA connector (D-SUB) of the graphics card. Most computers are connected with external display devices through analog VGA interface. The display image information generated digitally inside the computer is converted into R, G, B primary color signals and line and field synchronization signals by the digital/analog converter in the display card, and the signals are transmitted to the display device through data lines. For analog display equipment, such as analog CRT display, the signal is directly sent to the corresponding processing circuit to drive and control the picture tube to generate images. For LCD, DLP and other digital display devices, corresponding A/D (analog/digital) converters shall be configured in the display devices to convert analog signals into digital signals. After D/A and A/D2 conversion, some image details are inevitably lost. DVI or HDMI data cable is better for connecting digital display equipment.
