The connector must not be mated or unmated under load. Non-compliance and improper use may cause personal injury.

The connector is developed for applications in factory engineering, control, and electrical equipment construction. The user is responsible for ensuring that the connector is also suitable for applications in other areas.

To prevent accidental disconnection of the connector when used in circuits with contact hazard voltage, the threads between the housing and connector head must be secured with an appropriate cyanoacrylate adhesive. This does not apply to connectors used in SELV and PELV circuits compliant with IEC 61140 (EN 61140, VDE 0140-1).

Connectors used in circuits with electrical shock hazard voltages may only be installed and used by trained electrical engineering personnel, or under their supervision, considering applicable regulations and standards.

Users must take appropriate safety precautions to ensure the connector cannot be accidentally disconnected.

Plug connectors with protection ratings of IP67 and IP68 are not suitable for use underwater. When used outdoors, plug connectors must be individually protected against corrosion. For further information on IP protection ratings, refer to the "Technical Information" download center.

Plug connections are not suitable for mains voltage. Please observe the degree of pollution and overvoltage category. For more information, refer to the "Technical Documentation" in the download center.

To secure the cable connector to the device connector, the threaded ring should be "hand-tightened" (approximately 60 cNm).

If the cable connector has a metal threaded ring, ensure it is connected to the PE protective contact of the device connector. It is not permitted to connect the cable between device connectors that are not connected to the PE contact. The user must ensure the continuous connection of the protective grounding wire.
