Welding requirements for cold pressed terminal blocks

When using cold pressed wiring terminals, it is necessary to fully understand the cold pressed terminals to be operated and be familiar with their operation methods to a certain extent. This can effectively ensure their correct operation. For cold pressed terminals that do not have anti misoperation measures, color codes or markings should be used to identify them, or whether the appropriate model corresponds before connection, and ensure correct positioning when connecting them; Special attention should be paid to preventing accidental insertion and closing of the needle socket, otherwise it will damage the cold pressed terminal and cause accidental electrical contact; It should be ensured that the cold pressed terminals are connected properly. In special situations that are difficult to inspect, detailed regulations should be made in the corresponding operating procedures, and inspection can be carried out through a scope.

When terminating cold pressed wiring terminals, it is necessary to strictly follow the corresponding termination specifications and requirements for termination and inspection. During operation, the terminals should be terminated according to the corresponding contact numbers. The thickness of the insulation layer between the selected cable wires should match the spacing between the contact pieces, and the cable core should match the terminal of the contact piece. When the contact pieces are crossed or parallel, they should be processed.

When welding cold pressed wiring terminals, the corresponding power soldering iron should be selected based on the diameter of the bare wire. The welding time for each contact is generally not more than 5 seconds, and care should be taken not to let the solder penetrate the insulator to avoid a decrease in the insulation resistance of the product.

Cold pressed terminals should be separately equipped with protective caps or other dust-proof measures when they are in their separated state; If the cold pressed terminal does not separate for a long time after connection, a safety can be added between the plug and the socket. When cleaning the cold pressed wiring terminals, a silk cloth dipped in anhydrous ethanol can be used and dried before use. It is not allowed to use chemical solvents such as acetone that may have harmful effects on connectors.

When connecting or disconnecting cold pressed terminals, the axis lines of the plug and socket should be aligned as much as possible, and the cable should be straightened to avoid tangential force on the plug and prevent damage to the connector caused by cable sagging. Cold pressed terminals must not be powered on until they are properly connected or fully locked.
