As a subsidiary of Smiths Group plc in the UK, Smiths Interconnect is a leading supplier of high reliability connectivity products and solutions in the aerospace and defense, medical, semiconductor testing, and industrial markets. This transaction will be paid in cash, and the specific amount will be calculated based on the customary adjustments of working capital, cash, and debt.

Smiths Intercom designs and manufactures technologically differentiated electronic components, as well as microwave, optoelectronic, and RF products and subsystems for connecting, protecting, and controlling critical applications. Smiths Intercom has 21 sales, research and development, and manufacturing bases in 12 countries including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Tunisia, India, China, and Singapore.
The acquisition is expected to be completed in the first half of 2026, subject to regulatory approval and other customary delivery conditions. More information will be announced at that time.
