As the world's first nanomolding technology (NMT) material based on polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), this product has achieved a dual leap in flame retardancy and mechanical properties, accurately meeting the upgrading needs of the consumer electronics industry for lightweight and high durability metal plastic composite components (such as smartphone frames).
Breakthrough thin-walled flame retardant technology, increase bonding strength by 60%

The principle of Nanomolding Technology (NMT) is to inject plastic resin into chemically treated metal surfaces to form high-strength composite structures. Compared with traditional die-casting or insert molding processes, NMT technology brings many benefits to manufacturers: it can achieve lightweight and thin-walled design of equipment, ensure the penetration efficiency of RF signals, improve the aesthetic effect of appearance, simplify the processing flow, and enhance the waterproof and dustproof capabilities of electronic devices.
The LNP released this time ™ THERMOTUF ™ WF0087N composite material has achieved a breakthrough in thin-walled flame retardancy (UL94) while maintaining excellent bonding strength and mechanical properties such as impact resistance V0@1.0 Millimeters). Its bonding strength with metal is about 60% higher than that of ordinary flame-retardant PBT resin, which can effectively meet the strict IP68 waterproof and dustproof standards.
